Lab labor fee includes staff time, miscellaneous reagents and supplies, and maintenance costs on broadly used lab equipment.

Comprehensive training for use of Nanostring SPRINT system; required for shared access use of Nanostring instrument and system set-up in IGL.

One training fee can cover up to 2 people from the same lab. Both trainees must complete all parts to complete the training and obtain permission to use the Nanostring. A training can include up to 2 people from different labs, but there will be a training fee applied for each person.

Administrative Fee: Covers costs associated with managing client accounts, including customer support, troubleshooting, and recharging oligo expenses to client aliases. Additional fees may apply for large dollar orders or extensive client support.

QIAcube uses advanced technology to process QIAGEN spin columns, enabling seamless integration of automated, low-throughput sample prep into the laboratory workflow. No change of purification chemistry is required, assuring fast startup and immediate results. All steps in the purification procedure are fully automated — up to 12 samples can be processed per run. (Qiagen) 

Includes one run on the QuantStudio 7 Flex qPCR instrument by IGL staff. Fee includes service contract, calibration supplies, labor for calibration, monitoring and troubleshooting.

RNA isolation or other processing using Qiagen spin-columns or other appropriate extraction method supported in the core.  Service includes supplies and labor for extraction, UV quantification, and Bioanalyzer QA. 

The Bioanalyzer chip fee is charged separately and is based on the chip type required.

DNA isolation from saliva using the prepIT manual isolation method. Inludes UV measurement. Additional QA such as Tapestation and Qubit will incur separate charged.
